THE BEGINNING OF THE BLUEPRINT
ABOUT ATHLIOS
Mark Thompson and Scott Sechrest met by chance in 2014 at a completely different company. Thrown together as a team, their first exercise was a comprehensive analysis of the current technology in the fitness industry. They immediately identified the need for a user-friendly, unifying platform where the base technology could be leveraged across not only equipment manufacturers and gym owners, but also included the gym members themselves. In 2015, AthliOS was born. They developed a BluePrint for owners and manufacturers alike to fast track development efforts. Clients can leverage the OS SDK to create fully customized console software or to build a unique piece of cardio or strength equipment from the ground up. Most importantly, gym members can use the platform to upload workouts or download workout data in real time.
